2010 Promises to be another exciting year at Superman Celebration!

Superman Statue

2009 was a banner year for Metropolis, Illinois' Superman Celebration, and we set the bar pretty high for ourselves after a stellar lineup of events, activities, and guests.  People have been asking us just how can we top 2009's guest lineup that included Smallville stars Justin Hartley and Phil Morris, The Adventures of Superman star (and first lady of Metropolis) Noel Neill, and Superman and the Mole Men star Beverly Washburn, as well as comics superstars such as Wonder Woman writer Gail Simone, legendary DC writer John Ostrander, Green Arrow artist Mike Norton, and Mail Order Ninja and Batman writer Josh Elder.  Along with a great gang of independent comics creators and artists, events like our Fan Film Competition, dance party, film screenings, musical acts, and more, just how in the world can we possibly top 2009?

Well hang on to your hats, because we have a whole lot in store for 2010!

Between now and May, we will be revealing special guests, exciting events, and a whole lot more here on the only official site of the City of Metropolis, Illinois' Superman Celebration.

Make your travel plans today!  You'll definitely want to join us for another exciting year!
