Josh Boultinghouse was chosen as the winner in the 2008 search for the official Superman of the Metropolis Celebration.

Josh was born and raised in Richardson, Texas. Ever since he was five years old, he dreamed of becoming an actor. As a teenager, Josh was very involved in his church youth group and participated in mission trips and other activities with them. In high school, Josh excelled at football, making the varsity team as a freshman and started his sophomore year as a defensive/offensive lineman. Josh was named all-city newcomer of the year and was named to the All-City and All-District teams his last thrJosh in Phone boothee years of high school.

Upon graduation, Josh attended the University of Central Arkansas on a theatre and football scholarship. Unfortunately, Josh injured his ankle and then transferred to Texas Tech University for a year, during which he was heavily involved in theatre.

In his spare time, Josh enjoys church activities, working out, reading, and watching movies (his favorite, of course, is Superman). At 6'2"and 235 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, his dream was to one day be Superman on the big screen.

Josh currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and has two older siblings. His brother, Trey, is a mortgage broker. His sister, Christa, is a chiropractor and mother of Josh's 11 year old niece Victoria and year old nephew Bryson. Both of Josh's older siblings were very involved and played crucial roles in his upbringing. His mother's name is Yvonne. His father is Steve Boultinghouse, who is married to his step-mother Deborah Boultinghouse.
