Lonnie Easterling is the creator of the single-panel web-comic Spud Comics which has spawned three printed collections, Brain Peelings, Spud Salad, and the most recent, Baked Spuds.
 
Lonnie has been drawing cartoons for as long as he can remember. His first published work was the weekly comic strip Ralph the Dog in 1995. After working as a graphic designer for twelve years, Lonnie decided to focus his cartooning for the web and began posting his "silly" single panels in 2008 He named them after his grandfather's nickname for him, "Spud". Since then he has published over 800 different Spud Comic panels.
 
A member of the Mid-South Cartoonists Association, Lonnie lives in Memphis, Tennessee with his wife and three children. A lifelong Superman fan, Lonnie has attended the Superman Celebration for the past nine years. This will be his second show participating as a comic artist.
