Jon Schnepp is an American Director, Writer, Producer, and Host. Jon has created programming for Cartoon Network , FX, MTV, Nickelodeon, , SpikeTV, Machinima, Comedy Central, Collider, and Showtime.

Schnepp graduated from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA, winning 3rd place ranking of all BFA/MFA’s in awarded fellowships. He was also the Student Union President. Schnepp started his career as Art Director /Animation Director / Editor for MTV's live action interactive movie "Club Dead", and then immediately moved into editing many episodes of “Space Ghost: Coast to Coast” back before Adult Swim was Adult Swim. He then went on to direct the Pilot and multiple segments for “The Upright Citizens Brigade” in New York for Comedy Central.

Jon then moved to Hollywood, California, to pursue further adventures in media. After working on many different projects in CA., Jon designed and created the five band characters of Dethklok, and then the series was sold to Adult Swim a few months afterwards. Schnepp went on to direct 34 episodes and co-produce on all four seasons of the megahit Adult Swim animated series called “Metalocalypse”. Jon directed most of the animated music videos for the Dethklok live concert tours. Schnepp also co-plotted and did covers for the new Dark Horse Comic Book Series based on "Metalocalypse".

Jon has also co-directed season 4.1 of “The Venture Bros.”, directed the “Aqua Teen Hunger Force” 3D Origin, co-directed two episodes of Marvel’s “The Black Panther”, and wrote the three episodes produced for the “Underworld” animated series. He is one of the 26 Directors from all across the globe picked for the feature film anthology called “The ABCs of Death”. His segment “W is for WTF” is a high octane blend of Horror and Comedy, mixed into a multi-media meltdown.

Schnepp produced and ran a very successful Kickstarter Campaign, raising over $188,000 (107% of the goal) to make the animated pilot episode for Zenescope’s “Grimm Fairy Tales”, of which he executive produced, wrote and directed. This animated short boasts incredible animation done in the style of great animated movies like "Heavy Metal" and "Fire & Ice"!!! Then Schnepp began 2013 faster than a speeding bullet, by successfully funding his first solo feature film documentary effort on Kickstarter, "The Death of Superman Lives: What Happened?". The internet press exploded, as the story coverage on this went from Hollywood to Russia, with every major geek/nerd website covering it. He and producing partner Holly Payne have toured the globe with the film in 2015, as it was received with success by both critics and fans!! They recently made a licensing deal with Showtime Networks to screen it on their platform.

Jon has expanded his career by hosting several popular talk shows currently on youtube called "collider MovieTalk" and Collider Heroes", with a new show on the brand new ComicConHQ svod channel. He and Holly are also working on a brand new documentary series for ComicConHQ as well.
