35th Kiwanis Superman Bicycle Ride

This annual event is super fun for young and old and is hosted by the Metropolis Kiwanis.  Whether you are a casual bike rider or like a challenge, there’s a route for you!

The ride will begin at 8:00 am at Washington Park (across from the Metropolis Public Library) with a mass start led by Superman.   Once again the ride will include 10 mile, 40 mile, and 60 mile routes. The 10 mile route is relatively flat and the 40 and 60 mile routes have challenging hills.

All ages are welcome and a cycling parent or responsible adult must accompany riders 16 and under.  Helmets are required.  You must obey all traffic laws and a waiver must be signed prior to the event.
